Each year people make New Year’s resolutions to better appreciate their lives and those who are in them.  Our lives get busier and busier, though, and the chaos around us often leads us to take for granted the simpler things in life.  We have houses and families to fill them.  We have toys and books and music to occupy our free time.  Those things have always been there...

But what if they weren’t?  The LiLu Handbag Project was created  to benefit the children and teens in our area who haven’t been able to rely on a home to always be there.  We emphasize consistency and strive to prove to those at WIND that a home will now always be a constant in their lives.  The proceeds earned from the LiLu products sold are donated to the WIND Center.  The Center is the focal point of WIND’s efforts to engage homeless youth and offer them the help necessary to escape the downward cycle of poverty and homelessness.  It is a safe place that encourages and induces hope and ambition out of everyone involved.
